I went to the shelter with my best friend the day after my Chihuahua Fitz died. I was heartbroken and couldn't bear the thought of not having a pup to love on. I didn't expect to get a dog quite like Frigga. I had wanted a male dog, smallish, and something more along the lines of what I had with Fitz.

She was the quietest dog in the shelter, but when I took her out to the grounds to run she acted as though it was the best time she had ever had in her entire life. I was in love.

She's a bit needy, whining when she doesn't have my full attention. She's jealous when my roommate's dog "appears" to be getting more love. She has a ferocious bark and is very muscular. Really not a dog that I would have pegged as being something I would do well with. But she's great!
