Bonnie was the first dog I had ever experienced, she was apart of the family before I was. When I got older, I was told stories about how kind and caring Bonnie was. When I was a baby Bonnie was my protector, she wouldn't let strangers come near me, she would cuddle up to me and sleep with me on the ground, she followed me everywhere I went. As I grew up nothing changed, Bon was always looking out for me and my family. She was very good with children, even when they constantly pulled her tailed, she never bit. Bonnie was the most kind natured and gentle dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I remember one time there was a massive storm and our next door neighbours weren't home. They owned a chicken farm and had recently gotten small chicks. When the storm hit the chicks went flying all throughout the yard. My mother and dog ran out to help them. Bonnie ran up to mum with something in her mouth, it was one of the chickens. She placed it in my mums hands and continued to do so until all the little chicks were saved. Bonnie loved to play with her ball and hated storms and bath time. She was one memorable loving dog.
