While she now has hip problems that keep her from going on too long of walks, Mieka loves walking and hiking. She can be very focused and just keeps going (unless she spots a squirrel). She can be aggressive with other dogs, but it depends on the situation. For example, sometimes she growls at the puppy Snickers, but sometimes Mieka just watches the puppy as if she wants to play but isn't sure how to join in. She loves children, who think she's just a big teddy bear. She hates being alone, and at times has damaged the house in an attempt to get out when there's no other dogs or people home. Over all, she's big dog with a lot of long fur and some health issues that just wants to feel included.
