Alaskan Husky/German Shepherd Mix

We took in a rescue German Shepherd/Husky mix from a home overflowing with full grown dogs and newborn puppies. All of the animals were in poor health. We were so hoping to have our pup, Riley, for his lifetime. Sadly, he ended up having parvo and becoming very I'll. We only had him for 2 months before he passed away. In that time we noticed what a loving and friendly breed he was even while sick. I would highly recommend this mixed breed to anyone wanting a loving companion or even a guard dog for yourself or your children. I believe this breed mix usually stays in good health, but, our pups life was off to a bad start from birth.
