Husky/shepherd Mix

Although this dog is a husky shepherd mix, but doing some reading, he has mostly husky characteristics. His appearance is almost all husky, with the exception of blue eyes. He is very friendly with almost all people including small children. Although he is very smart, and can learn "tricks", if this dog gets loose, he will want to run. This is not a great trait if you live in more populated areas with lots of traffic. I have gotten into the habit of walking my dog about 3 miles per day..he loves his walks and this seems to help be more relaxed throughout the day.

Pros: Very friendly, good with all ages of people, good pet if you like to walk or run. Would be great in a yard with a fence so he can run around a bit there as well.

cons: If not exercised regularly, will grow impatient and dig and chew. If loose this dog will run, and run! Lots of hair and blows their coat twice per year.
