Firstly, Let me state what a joy it has been with Deadpool! Love my baby.

Without a doubt, Alaskan Huskies prefer the cold. If they are in the heat, do have lots of shade and top brand air conditioning.

Gentle and playful, my cheerful dog is very fond of his family. A puppy at heart, Deadpool is clever, sociable and loving, easy-going and docile, though he does generally have a lot of energy, especially when he was a puppy. Dp is Good with children and friendly with strangers, HE IS NOT (I repeat) NOT A watchdog, for he barks little and loves everyone.

Deadpool, like all Huskies, are very intelligent and trainable, but they have a mind of their own and will only obey a command if they see the point and if you do not display leadership, they will not see the point in obeying you.

Now, I have had to buy another Husky because Deadpool is a pack animal. He does better with a group and hates being alone.

The grooming is pretty....average. I guess. He only sheds twice a year but if you are going to keep one in the heat be prepared. I use a metal comb to comb his fur.

In all, I recommend Alaskan Huskies to all those who love being energetic and having fun outside!
