Africanis - Best dog Ever!

This dog gives new meaning to a "girls' best friend". She stole our hearts from the very first day. She is extremely soft natured, very obedient and so easy to train. We have never needed professional puppy training or any professional training for that matter. She is super protective over our girls and our family, however she is very active and loves to play and needs a lot of love and affection. She tends to get a little depressed when we leave her at home for a whole day, in cases of a sports afternoon. She is not destructive though and she does not tear up the yard. She has short hair, hence very easy to groom and maintain. She does not like water though. When we say the "B"-word (bath), she runs and hides. Lately, I bath her inside, which she seems to like a little more, but it is kind of messy. I would highly recommend this breed for a family dog or for single people.
