The AfriCanis dog breed is one which is naturally loyal to its owner.

The bright aspect of this breed is that it is highly protective of its owner and the owner's property (yes, including livestock as its ancestry is from the rural part of South Africa). It is great as a walking companion as it can walk long distances and not easily fatigued. Also, it is highly cost effective as mostly only routine vaccinations are needed. It can even be used as a tracker dog (of course with training).

On the negative, once it gets sick, it has high chances of not recovering/dying (still don't know the reason for this).

You need to train it on how to do the "pooty" or else, get prepared to pack the "poo poo" every day as it will litter the whole place (without training of course). Once trained though, it uses only one particular spot as its "private area".
