this is my 3rd affie, a rescue this time,( yet another rescue here ) very shy and timid when she arrived, but now filled out and a happy lady, people say afghans are stupid, i can assure you after getting my third, they are very very inteligent, its always a case of, WHATS IN IT FOR ME ??? if i do that for you, they dont need miles and miles of walking, will let you know when had enough, just lays down and wont budge, do need a lot of grooming, but the elegant hound that appears after a good brush is worth the effort, some affie owners tend to be a bit aloof, ( not me though ) they are a posh dog, and boy do they now it, but loves a fuss and sulk if ignored by passers by, but all in all a wonderfull breed and im so glad to have another one
