I had a pitbull for 3 years and I loved it. Usually people think of them as a very aggressive breed. But don't go by the media hype. A lot of people have misconceptions about this dog. This is a dog that is highly trainable and depending on how you raise it, will turn out to be a little aggressive or perfectly docile like another breed.

The one I had was such a dear ! He was always playing silly antics and very friendly with everyone in the neighborhood. With complete strangers, he was a bit reclusive, but never aggressive. So it is all about training. Remember to give it a lot of exercise as it is always bumbling with energy. I haven't seen a dog who is so eager and happy to see his master at the end of the day !
