First 4 months with my cat - Rocky

Buying my York Chocolate Rocky four months ago was an amazing decision. I was initially worried about conflict due to my puppy being in the same house but I found the biggest issue was to tackle the litter box issue, but after 1 month of repeated failure, we became successful and finally potty trained here. I love the fact that she is very independent. She can sit by the window and watch outside for hours without disturbing anybody. She does enjoy the occasional belly rub, but she really enjoys her alone time. The only annoying part about owning a York Chocolate is the shedding! I've given up with trying to clean it. Her hair is EVERYWHERE!! No matter how much I brush her the furniture is always covered. She doesn't require a lot of maintenance besides the constant brushing and has been very healthy. Our first vet appointment didn't go accordingly due to the fact that Rocky panicked and kept hissing at the doctor.

Her relationship with my puppy Hunter started off very territorial, but they have learned to respect their space and not bother each other. They aren't the best of friends, but it's a start! Overall I am very happy with Rocky. She is always in a pleasant mood and doesn't harm anyone. Couldn't have asked for a better companion!
