Kalmi - The Beautiful but Talkative Turkish Angora

Kalmi is our gorgeous Turkish Angora cross. Being a mixed breed he possesses the characteristics of both the Turkish Angora and Domestic Short Hair. He is a pure white cat with yellow eyes. His coat is short to medium in length and he does shed quite a large amount. Because of this, he requires regular grooming.

Kalmi is an exceptionally friendly cat. He is always seeking attention from his human companions and especially enjoys being petted. He will meow quite frequently when there is something he wants. He is rather loud in the morning when it is time to eat and does not hesitate to demand for food. He also enjoys playing with the water bowl and prefers to drink cold, running water.

The only health problem Kalmi has had was a urinary tract infection caused by urinary crystals. Due to this incident, he now eats a prescription diet.

He gets along very well with other animals and will often snuggle with our other cats. Overall, he is extremely laid back and personable. I would highly recommend a Turkish Angora as a family pet.
