Tim was a Siberian, but really close to Norwegian, my father's favorite pet. From my perspective, this is a cat with a strong character, dominant, and stubborn. Tim, for instance, would never adapt to others, as well as would rarely be willing to accept anyone's signs of affection. Influenced by mood, he would only require what he wanted. Were we bad hosts? I never got the answer, but we tried hard.

On the bright side, Siberians are adorably playful hunters, and have a really intelligent face and beautiful coat. The fur is quite long though, it requires constant care, and cat hair is typically found everywhere around the house. Still, Siberian cats do not need frequent washing - once a year will be enough. He'll hate till the next time anyway.

Yeah. Gorgeous, breathtakingly charming cats you want to snuggle so much, but they'll never get true pleasure from that, unless hungry.
