Lily is a playful, affectionate, mischievous girl. She loves to cuddle and frequently sleeps on my lap. She prefers high places in the room and is frequently at the top of a tall cat tower. I was surprised to find that not all cats hate water. The first time we saw her, she jumped up on the sink at the shelter to play in the water while the volunteer was refilling the bowls.

Pros:
Affectionate
Super soft and silky fur
Cuddly
Adorable mews
Motorboat purring
Doesn't meow unless hungry and doesn't yowl
Playful and entertaining
Excellent mouser, though finding one in your shoe is a bit shocking. lol

Cons:
Cat hair everywhere! Requires constant brushing and grooming. Mats so bad they have to be cut out sometimes.

She would sometimes turn on the faucet to play in the water. Of course, she doesn't bother to turn it off and leaves the water running. Baby proofing stopped this. Lol

Hard to keep her off the table, counters, and other high surfaces. She is not obedient.

She doesn't like too many people around or too much chaos - makes her hide

She dislikes dogs and is fiercely territorial against other cats. We brought her into a house that already had another cat. She accepted him, but if she had been the first cat, I don't think she would have allowed a new cat into the house easily.
