Simon was a foster failure, meaning we fostered him and found that we could not let him go when it was time to list him for adoption. We kept him and have been smitten ever since. He was an adorable kitten and has only grown cuter as he has aged into adulthood.

Simon is frisky, playful, and affection. He does not like to be held, but he will tolerate it for a little while. If I'm reading a book or watching TV, Simon will curl up right beside me and purr.

He had no trouble with learning the ins and outs of the litter box, but he is not the tidiest of fellows. He will often scrape a quarter of the contents of the litter box out in a mad attempt to bury his stool, which does not thrill either of the two humans tasked with cleaning up his mess.

Simon is great with people of all kinds, including young children. He doesn't mind other cats but seems to actually enjoy being around friendly dogs. He will fetch a toy ball and drop it at my feet, just like a dog. We adore Simon and hope to have him around for a long time.
