Well they are cats so they mostly take care of themselves. What I have found with most Siamese cats however, is that they can be aggravating when left to their own devices. One cat I had continually emptied potted plants and brand new boxes of tissue while I was away at work. Another would not come out of hiding all day until I returned home. In both instances the problem was that they were alone. As soon as they had a friend to turn their attention to the problem behavior ceased. In each case I also ended up with two cats instead of one!!

Siamese cats have a lot of personality but they also like to remind owners that they are royalty and should be treated as such. Don't forget it! They can be a little high maintenance and demanding at times but they are cats so it doesn't last too long. Very playful and intelligent, but can be moody.

They come in all sorts of shades but a well bred cat will have more cream in the body and darker points (ears, nose, feet, etc). There are various shades to the points ranging from chocolate to blue and red. They all have blue eyes.
