As a special Christmas gift for my husband, I decided to see if I could find a kitten that matched the description of his beloved cat of many years ago. I planned to purchase the kitten, carrier, bed, and all the accessories, as well as getting all of the shots and vaccinations taken care of beforehand. While talking to a friend about this, she mentioned that a friend’s cat had just had a litter and there was one kitten left. Amazingly enough, the kitten was white, with green eyes and pink inner ears and paws – exactly what I was looking for!
I saw the kitten and it was love at first sight…what a beautiful little bundle of fluff! When I gave the kitten to my husband on Christmas day, he fell head over heels for “Frosty,” too. As time went on, we found Frosty to be sweet, loving, and gentle. Frosty was no trouble at all and required very little maintenance. We both worked during the day and when we got home, Frosty was there at the door to greet us, purring his little heart out.
Every night, when I would go to bed, Frosty would snuggle up beside me and put his little paw on my arm…quite unusual for a cat. Frosty was the most affectionate cat I had ever seen! We kept Frosty indoors and he was perfectly content; he was never an “outside” cat. He would play with his toys, take a snooze, and generally just enjoy his life as a pampered cat!
The only negative that I will mention is that due to Frosty having such a beautiful, thick coat, he was subject to getting hairballs. We had special medicine that we would give him for this, and it worked quite well.
I would highly recommend this breed of cat to all cat lovers out there!
