"Bred for Beauty"

The prettiest kitten, the laziest kitten. Mittens was only with us for a short time, but she was fun to have around none-the-less. She LOVED to be with you, follow you around, lay with you, but once she planted, getting her to move was a chore. The only time she wouldn't follow you is when she was sprawled across one of our beds. So soft and a joy to hold, though. And, yeah, just like all Ragdolls and Ragamuffins, she definitely went limp when you held her.

She wasn't the smartest though. We liked to joke that she was bred for beauty, not brains. Litter training and scratching posts weren't a problem, but virtually everything else was. Although it was amusing from time to time, she was clumsy and didn't learn from mistakes very quickly.

Like any cat, especially long haired, shedding was a definite problem. With her, it was a double problem because I often couldn't tell there was much fur on my bed or clothes until I laid down or put them on. She was black, my bedding was black, a lot of my clothes were black. She blended in perfectly save her white paws.
