My Big Ball of Fur, Sophia

We got Sophia as a newborn from our friend whose cat had kittens. She was mine from the get go and slept in my bed with me every night. She loved pouncing on my feet under the covers, which was adorable but painful. She was a super playful kitten and would jump 10 feet in the air for her toy string. Once we had her fixed, she calmed down and became a bit more sedentary, but still loves to pat balls around the house and chase strings. She's a little prima donna kitty and is pretty afraid to go outside unless we're close by. That being said, she's had several escape attempts, though I think she was always bluffing. She has a super quirky personality that seems to fit with my own in some ways. One thing about her is she hates little kids. She hisses at them and claws if they get too close. Whenever kids come over, she runs and hides up high on the cabinets. These days she's very much a lap kitty. She loves getting petted and nuzzling her nose against yours, especially in the morning to wake you up.
