My Pixie-Bob, Max, is 17 years old and he is, by far, one of the best cats I've ever owned. He is extremely healthy and active, even at his old age. He's never had any health problems in his 17 years. That being said, he's always been an indoor cat. He has always been extremely friendly with people, dogs, and other cats. He is a quiet cat that hardly vocalizes, unless it's dinner time. Max is more loving and social than some other cat breeds I have owned; he's more like a dog than a cat in the way he follows you around and always wants to be petted. He even wags his nub like a dog when he's happy. Max has been a great family pet and would recommend the Pixie-Bob breed to any family wanting a friendly, unique cat.
