I adopted Bindi at 3 months of age. She was a very active kitten but we had Siamese and Abyssinian before so we were prepared for her antics. Over the years Bindi has had six litters of kittens. She was a great mother and took excellent care of her kittens. Bindi is now 10years old and living an easy life. She still has time to play but prefers to cuddle up for a nice warm sleep with other cats and kittens and of course, me. Bindi has always been terrific company for me and is always ready for a cuddle, she particularly likes her ears rubbed.
I have been breeding ocicats since 2003 from Bindi and two of her daughters. The kittens have been generally in very good health and have gone on to be wonderful family members. The Ocicat is an active cat and enjoys playtime including fetch. I sit in the lounge chair and they bring the toy to me to throw for them...easy. They talk to me and ask and answer lots of questions, which is most enjoyable. They are always at the door to greet me when I have been away, and they want to know what is in the bag.
