Angelica, the mixed breed

I've owned a lot of mixed breed cats in my life, but Angelica stands out in my mind as exceptional- and not just because she's currently the best cat I own, either. The way I came to own her was even interesting. I was driving along the highway in my truck, and someone threw a box right at my wheels. I dodged it, put on my emergency flashers, got out and checked the box out. Out popped a tiny, multi-colored ball of fluff with giant green eyes. I took her to the vet to get her checked out, and they asked me if I needed help re-homing her. I told them "NO! Why on earth would I give her to someone else that could just throw her out of their truck again?", and I took her home with me.
She never meows unless it's necessary. Her food bowl's empty? No biggy. She'll stare at me until I fill it. She doesn't need constant attention. She's content to lay in my general vicinity, as opposed to right on me. She's playful when she wants to be, but only when she WANTS to be. And, she never causes any trouble. She's not big on biting or scratching anyone, and she's always used the litter box. Outside of one case of worms, she's never had a health problem, either.
Everyone that meets her comments on her unusual markings. She is what my grandmother called a "Tortoise hair" cat. She's mostly black, but it's as if someone dipped a paint brush into brown and orange paint and just threw it at her. The result is gorgeous, and coupled with her personality, people have offered to buy her from me. And, my boyfriend and I jokingly say that there will be a custody battle over her if we break up.
