My partner and I got Oar three months ago from our local humane society and enjoy Oar very much. Oar is an indoor cat who spends most of his time in what we call his office, a window sill behind its shade. When he is not in his office trying to catch birds, he enjoys running through a crinkle tunnel, playing with a ball on a circular track, and chasing lasers.

Oar is a work in progress, he can be very sweet and he can also be aggressive. Oar sleeps on our bed each night in between my partner and I; he also likes to snuggle on his own terms. The aggression seems to be play aggression, where he will latch onto one of us with his claws and bite us. The vet suggested we get Feliway diffusers and we have a positive difference in his behavior. We have also increased his playtime and reward positive behavior.

We are still working with him on deterring him from scratching our carpet, but this has been improving.
