Most of the cats I have owned are domestic mixed breed. Fairly easy to maintain. Feed, water, and litter box cleaning is pretty simple. They are very independent and can pretty well take car of themselves. Bottle feeding newborns are pretty difficult because you have to be on top of a feeding schedule.
