I got this cat with the impression that he was a Bengal because I am less allergic to Bengals... turns out he was just a mixed-breed tabby-cat. While he would cuddle with my spouse, he hated me and would scratch, claw, and bite my ankles. He was very active and would climb my screen-door and often mess with my dog. He would also get needy in the middle of the night and stand at our bedroom door and SCREAM until I came out, chased him around my house, and locked him in the laundry room.
I'm sure cat people would've liked this cat, but I couldn't stand him. He had to be the worst cat I'd ever had. On the positive side, he was pretty funny and would flail around the house acting like a crazy man... as a kitten we thought it was hilarious and he kept that playfulness in his adulthood.
