This cat is the most vocal cat I have ever seen. Had this cat, Bozo, for about three years and then let him loose on my mother who had finally gotten over the passing of her previous cat. Her previous cat, didn't make a peep in 15 years. Bozo said more in one day than the previous cat said in it's entire lifetime! He marches in and takes over. I can only presume his meowing is to know what time dinner will be served! We have attributed his abundant vocalization to youth and my mother, although she gets a kick out of his extroverted personality, is hoping he grows out of this phase. Or at least dials it down a bit. His meowing is not constant. Usually there's a reason. But once food, water, and sand box have been ruled out, the reason is either a rival cat lurking outside or, seemingly, he's bored. He is one of the most robust cats I've ever seen and is full of energy (he's been spayed.) He runs constantly around the house and has plenty of energy to play with my mother. He is wary of strangers but acclimates to them. He had an uneasy, yet peaceful coexistence with another cat (who was very tranquil,) and after a shaky start with a greyhound, became an admirer from afar. He and the dog coexisted peacefully until the dog's passing.
