My experience with my mother's Laperm

Not long ago, my mother acquired a Laperm kitten named Penny. Penny is a tortie and white Laperm, and certainly a very unique cat.

Though extremely friendly, Penny is also extremely loud, and into and on top of everything and anything. She is not too friendly with other cats, and tolerates dogs. Penny takes minimal grooming effort, but a lot of clean-up care, as she is constantly making a mess. She is a bit moody, odd, and needs her ears cleaned constantly.
One perk of the Laperms is that they do not shed, and are though to be hypoallergenic.

All in all, I would say the Laperm is a good cat for those who want a highly affectionate and playful cat, but don't mind some interesting quirks, high energy level, and the constant clingy behaviours.
