I've owned 4 Khao Manees in my life.
They're absolutely beautiful cats. They're also very sweet (with adults). They don't seem to like young children much, and get very nervous if they live in a house with lots of young kids. This impacts their behaviour: instead of being friendly, playful and cuddly, they bite and scratch a lot, and run away or climb tall tress just to get their own privacy!
They can be very sweet and gentle with those who know how to handle them correctly. They're very active: they run a lot, climb trees and catch lots of prey.
They're not always the healthiest of cats. Jess had 0 health issues until the age of 20, when she died suddenly of kidney failure (it's impossible to spot any kidney problems in cats until at least 70 % of their kidneys are destroyed, by which stage it's too late to save them). Winney always had dreadlocks from climbing trees and getting junk caught in his fur, so we had to wash his fur with shampoo at least once per week. He also had bad breath, and lost all but 3 of his teeth by the age of 16. He could no longer eat and the vet strongly suggested that we have him put down. Carlo was completely deaf, so he used to scream all the time, and wonder why he couldn't hear himself. He was also blind in one eye! Snowball is only 1 and 1/2 and has no health issues to the best of my knowledge.
These cats often have eyes which are different colours.
I suggest that you get one if you are not living with anyone under the age of 8, like having active cats in the house, have a garden and don't mind shampooing their hair. Winney used to love water and would even swim in my pool or get in the bathtub with people!
