I had a negative experience with this breed. The fur and general look of the cat was beautiful. However, the cat was very aggressive. Even something as simple as releasing the cat from his carrying crate would result in him trying to claw the person open the crate.

Ironically, he was very easy to pick up. I say this is ironic because my current cat strongly dislikes being picked up, yet I would say she is much more friendly than my Japanese Bobtail. I ended up having to give my bobtail back to the shelter where I got it. I felt terrible, but it just wasn't working out for me.
