My childhood cat

my beautiful, hardy childhood cat. She was a long haired rescue cat who we got in Italy. She had a funny little kink in her tail that added a bit of character to her.

She was not the most playful cat, but she was very happy to sit on your lap at night and be petted for a long time.

The pluses, as she was a female long haired cat she was very fluffy and beautiful. She was also very petite which made her easy to handle for children. She wasn't too active so you didn't have to worry about her attacking your ankles as you walked past, however she would quite happily play wit a piece of dangling string or cat toy. She was exceptionally hardy and lived an active happy life without ever going to the vet until she was 17.

However, due to being a long haired cat she often would malt and leave lots of hair everywhere, on you the sofas and the carpet. Also older cats do have some health complications, she would be ill and was quite frail, but tat is not too much different to human being so!

I loved my cat and could not have chosen a better companion to grow up with, I would thoroughly recommend a cat if you have a slightly shy child as they are nice quiet companions that don't require too much up keep and are very rewarding when they give you their affections!
