Only owned one Cornish Rex in my lifetime...He was a rescue, but adapted quickly to his new home with me. Extremely lovable animal, very vocal and playful, although he was considered a "senior" cat. Didn't have very good litter box manners, unfortunately...Kicked litter all over after using the box, but I assume the bad litter manners came from living in bad conditions (in a cage) before he was rescued. Overall, Cornish Rex's are great companion pets...but you also need to be able to take care of them. They require more than your average cat, as they need to be bathed frequently, have their ears cleaned/nails trimmed, need to be kept warm (since their coat is different than an average cat's), and are prone to health issues such as digestive issues. Great family pets, as mine seemed to absolutely love everyone. He also loved to sleep under the covers and go outside on the leash to eat grass.
