Alo was truly a great cat except that he was not neutered. Because of this, as soon as spring came along he began spraying everyone's room. Please spay your cat! He definitely had a strong desire to go outside as well and I believe should be an outdoor cat.

Other than that, he was truly a great cat. I ended up having to leave the city I was living in at the time and therefore he ended up staying with my old roommate so I didn't have to move him 1,000 miles away. He was extremely friendly to every single person who came in the door. He was definitely vocal but not too vocal and he learned fast. He was honestly just very exploratory and very curious. He wasn't great around dogs but I would say that is because he has no experience with him before. He is also a predator. I also owned two guinea pigs at the time and he was always trying to get into the cage and claw them.

So my advice, if you get a male british shorthair, get him neutered, and let him be an outdoor cat. If you do that, he will be the sweetest cat you've ever had :).
