Arabian Mau as a pet

My Arabian Mau was rescued in Mirdif in Dubai, she was found alone at around 4 weeks, and we took her as the person who found her was unable to keep her. She is a very friendly and loving cat to us, however is quite timid around strangers. She is extremely agile, and can jump very high with her athletic long legs. She loves water and often gets in the shower with me. She generally won't drink water from a bowl, and prefers to drink from a running tap. She loves to play, and will play fetch, however can sometimes get a bit rough when playing so I would supervise her around younger children. She has a very loud and distinctive meow, and gorgeous markings with bold black stripes around her legs. She has large ears and paws and is slender in build with a very shiny coat. She is a lovely companion and loves cuddles. We have another cat who she is mostly ok with now, but it did take a long time to introduce them into being around eachother. She has a lot of personality and I would recommend this lovely breed to anyone, as long as you don't mind the loud meow.
