Based on my experience, this breed is a little temperamental. Sam will rub against your leg & then swipe at you for reaching down to pet her. However, she is generally a sweet cat, and she is extremely playful when that mood suits her; this is definitely not a fat, lazy cat!

She is a very curious and highly intelligent animal; if she hears a noise in a room across the house, she attempts to seek out that sound, and she usually succeeds! She also loves interacting with other cats and dogs. She is far from shy and she is never mean or aggressive with another pet.

In the time that I've known her, this cat has never had a health problem and she has always groomed herself very well-there is no problem whatsoever in this realm!

Overall, I believe this breed of cat would be best for someone who is looking for a playful and inquisitive, yet wholly independent pet.
