Lilly came to us with her sister, Twiggy. I was moving into my first apartment and was looking for the perfect pet. When I visited the foster home of Lilly I noticed her sister as well.

The shelter home had offered me a "deal" to adopt both sisters but they would not be able to come home until they gained weight. It took over five months for them to get up to two pounds. Now they are overweight at twelve to thirteen pounds.

Lilly has always been a very affectionate cat. She will sit near me or on my lap and purr for hours. Since a kitten, she has always slept with me and will meow to let me know when it is bedtime.

We have very little issues with Lilly. Most issues are scratching related which a cat pole helps with. She is playful at times but has calmed down with age. Her favorite toys are soft cloth fake mice and feather wands.

Since Lilly is overweight, she does have issues keeping her butt clean. Sometimes we must shave the area and use butt wipes to help keep it clean.

Lilly is a wonderful pet and I hope for many more years.
