American Short Hair -Tabby

I have owned many different rescue cats and I have found that the best type are American Short Hair Tabbies. This is due to their great temperament, often times very interested in hanging around people, rather than being aloof like many other cat breeds. They don't require excess grooming or veterinary care, like their purebred counter parts. I have had several tabby mixes as well and all have had great people-friendly personalities. The cats I have encountered have also been great with children and other pets (dogs/cats/rabbits). Would recommend as a first time pet or for someone more experienced.
