Ms. Kitty is my cat that I picked up from the streets about three years ago. She was a hungry stray and rather shy but sweet. After taking her home, I was surprised to see that she already knew how to use a litter box! Someone must have already owned her previously. According to the vet, she was approximately three years old and probably been spaded, which would help explain her sweet temperament. Spaded cats are a lot gentler and family friendly than non spaded cats!
I love my cat but she is not much of a social family pet. She keeps to herself almost all day and does not get along with dogs well. She is very afraid of them. She doesn't play well with our other cat who is significantly younger and more playful (and 10x more destructive). They often hiss at each other. She also had a problem with pooping in areas other than the litter box which greatly annoyed my mother. My main problem with her is flea control. It drives me crazy. Overall however, Ms. Kitty is a sweet cat although shy, moody, and evasive.
