It's ridiculous how much I love this cat. She is my little shadow with a little bed by the side of mine to boot. She'll be 5 this year and she's really blossomed. When she came to me, her owner couldn't keep her. She found her in a bag with other kittens thrown in a hotel swimming pool. Hard to believe. I actually didn't believe it until the vet was so curious why her voice is so raspy. I told her the story and she was sold, without one doubt. It doesn't bother her health, it's just something you notice if you're not used to it.
But she is wonderful and rich with personality. Simi likes to steal things, out of bags, cabinets, drawers, off your plate, wherever. It's part of her charm. She loves being spoken to and sometimes (every single time if you're my husband) will talk to you back. She loves other animals and gets along great with small critters or extra large critters. She can't be left alone with plastic, paper, or string of any kind that can fit in her mouth because she can and will eat it. I've saved her life more times than I can count from a simple grocery bag or shoe lace. Her belly is always warm if you're lucky enough to rub it. Sometime's she'll even come to you and let you pet her.
