I received Abby from a friend who was moving and could not take her with him. I had already become very attached to her and was more than happy to take care of her full-time.

She was a wonderful cat, although very, very overweight. She weighed probably close to 20 lbs when I got her. Overall, she was very well behaved and responded well to people. I found her to be very playful and always willing to cuddle.

Abby responded very well to her change in environment when she moved in with me. In fact, she showed no visible signs of stress from the move. She had been well trained by her previous owner and I can't say I have any complaints about her. Of course, cat hair was sometimes a problem, but that is to be expected. She groomed herself well and I rarely had to brush her. I would definitely recommend this type of cat to anyone. I think she would be great with families and single people alike. While she seemed laid back around other dogs, I would say to make sure any dogs you may have are okay around cats.
