Owning An American Shorthair

My time with my American Shorthair was a very irregular experience. He was incredibly intelligent as a cat. My Shorthair would watch what you do, then try to follow you around if you had something of interest. He was always ready to play, snuggle, or simply hang by your side. The downside with an American Shorthair is how curious it can be. Mine had a problem with ripping up toilet paper, and his playfulness sometimes got a little rough (being clawed can hurt). But even then he was nice to have as he was very cuddling and affectionate. His meows were incredibly cute!
