My American Shorthair

I loved my American Shorthair. He had a mackerel tabby coat and I raised him from birth. For people who always say cats cannot be trained, my cat was proof against that. He was friendly and playful but didn't always need attention. He was potty trained very quickly and was comfortable around dogs and other animals all the time. I really had no negative experiences with my cat at all. He was playful but also very laid back and would just follow me around and lay with me when I wasn't able to play. It was almost as if he knew my mood all the time. He was always healthy and cleaned himself for the most part. It may be because we raised him and trained him but other experiences with cats of the same breed have been the same. They have a friendly demeanor and never caused any trouble or hurt anyone or anything.
