Life with a Tuxedo

Willow is a calm Tuxedo (Domestic Short Hair/American Short Hair) with an extremely gentle personality. This cat is highly intelligent but prefers to occupy a box or table for hours at a time. She is quiet, however, when she is very hungry or lonely, she will howl loudly while standing near her plate or your person.

The Tuxedo breed seems to be cuddly, and this one likes to watch TV with the family. By that, I mean she watches intently for the duration of the episode. My experience with this cat is that Tuxedos are very respectful of your property, can be left alone to their own devices without worry and often find things to occupy their time.

Both of our cats are toilet trained, and will happily utilize the potty for their business. We have not had litter in our house for two years, and in our case, the cats are comfortable using other people's toilets as well. I would recommend not teaching them to flush - they may like to flush for fun.
