I owned my cat Tabby for 6 years and he was my first pet. He was extremely intelligent and loved to be pet and snuggled. He was always very affectionate and sometimes even needy. He did not enjoy dogs that much, but did get along most of the time with my Pit Bull. He was sometimes quite jealous of the dog and would scratch at him when he the family was giving him attention. Tabby was mostly an outdoor cat and stayed close to the house most of the day. He was also intelligent because he would follow me while I would walk my dog and then follow us all the way home while hiding in bushes. This cat does shed fur like many other cats, however it is not an abundant amount of fur. He enjoyed cuddles and being held quite a bit and was quick to get along with new faces.
