My cat, Cleo, is incredibly playful at 7 years old. She still goes wild for a laser pointer, or a crinkle ball. If a fly gets in the house, she is in full hunting mode to capture it. She is a cuddly lap cat that loves to sleep next to me every night. She is fairly happy with just a little bit of attention, whether it be playing, or just a good petting session, and then she goes on her own way. Some days she wants more attention than others, but for the most part she takes care of herself.

Cleo very rarely vocalizes. The only time I hear her meow are if I have taken way too long to give her food. She will chitter at a bird in the window if she is hunting, but she is mostly a silent cat. She can be very curious, and this gets her into trouble. She loves climbing the shelving unit to get to the top, but cannot get down on her own. This is distressing to her and yet she does it at least once a week.

One of the things I love about my cat is that she came litter box trained, and has never had an accident outside of it. However, the litter does tend to scatter across the floor which I really do not like; I cannot figure out a great way to stop this. A bad habit of her's is that she loves to eat paper. She has actually chewed up my mail before. She also enjoys eating plants, so I have to be very strategic on where I keep the house plants.
