Mittens was found on the side of the road wet, dirty and scared, he is orange and white and about six weeks old at the time. He was brought to me by two of my grandchildren just hours before the whole family was about to arrive for Thanksgiving dinner. I bathed him and wrapped him in a towel and the family sat and decided what his name would be. Well, it was decided that he would be called Mittens Tiger paws, Mittens for short. He is now two years old and totally in charge of his Kingdom and all his subjects. He likes to be feed in the morning about 6:30 to 6:45 and will come and using his head try to push me out of bed if I am late. My husband has been trained to give him treats in the morning and last thing at night. I have to play a game of a cross between hide and seek and catch me if you can, I must rub his tummy when I find him and he catches me by throwing all four paws around my leg as I run to hide. He likes to sun himself on the back porch lying on his back of course this is when weather permits otherwise you can find him on his favorite chair. If a visitor sits on his chair he will stand in front of them and try to get them to get up he will then jump up and make himself comfortable. How can anyone not love a cat?
