Acquired: Other (stray, given cat by friend etc.)
Gender: Female
Callie was my very first pet - she was given to me as a kitten when I was 7 years old and she's still alive and well 18 years later. She is very sweet and loving.
The Good: Callie is as cute as a button and the sweetest cat I've ever met! She isn't trusting of new people, but once she learns to like people she's always searching for a lap to sit on. She is very snuggly and goes completely limp when held by someone she likes.
The Bad: She has always been picky about food, but that's a very common cat thing in general. Callie has also begun having intermittent seizures for about a year now. At 18 years old, we expected her health to go downhill, but we weren't exactly expecting this to happen. It's been a costly vet expenditure. Besides when this happens (maybe once a month) she seems happy and healthy.
We love Callie very much and hope that she's around for many more happy years to come!
