Snickers is an orange tabby color and we have had him since my children were small so he is very much a member of the family. He is independent and goes off by himself but then when we come home he wants attention. He has a funny personality. For example if I close my bedroom door he will sit outside the door and cry and wine until you let him in. If I am sick and in bed he will lay with me all day.

While he was not comfortable with dogs at the beginning, after a while they learned to tolerate each other. For us he is the perfect cat. He does not require too much attention, but is very friendly and lets us hold and pet him when we are available.

He is getting older now so he doesn't play as much but he is still really loving and great with children.
