I've never been completely happy with any cat I owned. This cat is no different; he's unsociable, tends to bite you if you pet him too long, and doesn't seem to care about you at all. He's sweet at times, and has a very pretty coat, but he just doesn't jive well with the rest of my family. I have friends who have great cats, so this behavior isn't indicative of the breed, but I think that cats are extremely hit or miss. They are easier to take care of than a dog; they don't require as much attention or devotion, so they might be a better fit for some households. Personally, though, I don't think that I will be getting another cat.
