It was my first time to adopt a senior cat and I thought I had prepared myself for the possibility of losing my cat early on. Unfortunately, it was still very heart breaking to say goodbye to my cat after only 2.5 years of knowing each other. Lisa was a very interesting cat, at one point she would escape out of the house only to hide in the bushes for days without food or water. It was very confusing why exactly she did that. She was also not very friendly with dogs. She became a little more friendly with people but she was originally a stray so I am not sure how much human interaction she had before. Overall a great cat that I lost too soon to kidney failure.
