Our cat was very active and playful, could sometimes play aggressively. Very loving. I would say he was ok being independent but good with family too. Very east to litter train. I only had him for a few years and then my best friend's family inherited him. He was always indoors with us, but he was out/indoor with them. He loved hunting and climbing.

As with any pet, you need some "extras" in addition to food, letter, etc. He loved those feather toys that are on a long stick, catnip mice, those crackly plush toys, and little balls.

Some shedding, but pretty easy to groom. Well easy in theory....he didn't always want to brushed. And clipping nails? We started doing it when he was sleeping. :)

He was smart, affectionate, active...what more can you ask for? I guess he wouldn't be good for someone who just anted a calm cat. I would suggest looking into other breeds or at least adopting when they are older.
